OUR HISTORY


The Thiruvithancode Muslim Union (TMU) was founded in 1952 and has been serving the Tamil Muslim community in Singapore ever since. Over the years, it has grown steadily and gained recognition as a leading Tamil Muslim Religious educational institution dedicated to inculcating Islamic values and educating its students to become exemplary Singaporean citizens.

VISION & VALUES


TMU-operated Madrasah Darul Ilm offers our Tamil Muslim community various Islamic religious programs such as Quranic, Islamic Studies, Tahfeez and Tajweed programs on weekends and weekdays for all age groups. Madrasah Darul Ilm (TMU) conducts weekend religious courses in 7 masjids across Singapore to cater to all Tamil Muslims in all regions of Singapore.
